What we collect

We collect only what we need to match you with suitable mortgage brokers:

• Your journey answers — your goals, situation, timeline and preferences from the guided matching journey.
• Your contact details — name, email and phone number, so a broker you choose can reach you.
• Your feedback — how your broker conversations went, which helps improve matching for everyone.

Why we collect it

We use your journey answers to power our AI matching — understanding your scenario so we can suggest brokers whose experience fits it. We use your contact details to introduce you to brokers, and only to the specific brokers you select. We use feedback to improve match quality and to inform broker rankings.

Your details are shared with selected brokers only with your explicit consent. No broker sees who you are until you choose to connect with them.

Consent comes first

Consent-first is a design principle, not a checkbox. You review your matched shortlist anonymously. Nothing identifying leaves the platform until you actively choose a broker and confirm you want to be introduced. You can decline every match with no consequence.

We do not sell your personal data

We never sell your personal information, and we never broadcast your enquiry to lists of lead buyers. Brokers pay subscription fees to participate in the platform — they do not buy your data.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the matching service and meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified. If you never complete a match, incomplete journey data is retained only briefly to let you resume, then removed.

Access and deletion

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@brokerfinder.ai and we will action your request promptly. Deletion requests are honoured except where we are legally required to retain specific records.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for essential purposes: keeping your matching journey in progress, remembering your preferences and understanding, in aggregate, how the service is used. In this prototype, journey progress is stored in your own browser's local storage and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
